Description

The 2025 Zevenwacht Chenin Blanc opens with inviting aromas of apricot, green apple, and citrus supported by light floral notes and subtle oak spice.

The palate is vibrant and juicy with a gentle creaminess that adds shape and richness. A clear lime finish brings freshness and lift. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken, grilled prawns, or a bright citrus salad.
The wine was barrel fermented with a 4% concrete portion and occasional lees stirring was done for the first three months to fill out the mid palate. The final blend has 4% Concrete and 8% new French oak with the remainder being in seasoned barrels for 4 months.

Winemaker: Hagen Viljoen
