Description
The nose opens with ripe pineapple, guava, and citrus, lifted by a faint note of wood spice. On the palate, the wine is rich enough to feel generous, but refreshing enough to stay focused, with the fruit carried by a clean line of acidity and a long, satisfying finish. There is a nice balance here between youthful brightness and a little extra texture, making it especially well suited to grilled fish, roast chicken, creamy seafood dishes, or salads with citrus and herbs.
Already highly enjoyable, this vintage should drink well now for its freshness and fruit clarity, while also rewarding a few years in bottle as it gains a little more depth.
Thirty percent of the wine was fermented in oak, then removed from barrel immediately after fermentation to preserve freshness rather than add heavy oak character. The final blend remained on the lees for 2 months before stabilization and bottling, contributing subtle texture and palate weight.
