Uva Mira translates to "The Wonderful Grape," with Uva being the Latin word for grape and Mira meaning wonderful, miraculous, and full of charm. Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards is situated in the renowned "Golden Triangle," an area celebrated for its noble grape varieties and the production of wines of exceptional quality.
The estate spans 127 hectares, with 33 hectares under vine, cultivating six varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Positioned between 260 and 620 meters above sea level and just nine kilometers from False Bay, the vineyards benefit from a unique climate that naturally produces wines of elegance and finesse.
