Description

Crafted from select Banghoek vineyards, this Chardonnay shows both elegance and depth. Aromas of ripe peach and golden apple unfold into layers of vanilla, honeycomb, and a touch of citrus zest.

The palate is creamy and well-structured, balanced by a fine thread of minerality that carries through to a long, refined finish. A polished expression of Stellenbosch Chardonnay - vibrant, graceful, and effortlessly enjoyable.
Extensive bunch sorting of the grapes formed part of the quality management process. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented for 14 days. Maturation took place in 225 liter 40% new French barrels for 10 months. No batonage or malolactic fermentation took place, in order to retain freshness.

Winemaker : Morne Vrey
