The name “Warlord” for our Bordeaux blend is intended to convey a sense of power, boldness, and authority, characteristics that reflect the wine’s flavor profile, structure, and complexity.
Bordeaux blends are typically robust, with strong tannins, deep fruit flavors, and earthy notes, which align with the imagery evoked by the term “Warlord.”
Notes of ripe black plum, blackberry compote, and Black Forest cake are layered with hints of cedar spice and subtle cocoa. The wine reveals a delicate mid-palate, with well-rounded tannins that complement its elegant weight and the poised, well-balanced acidity that is characteristic of Cavalli.

Hand-picked at peak ripeness, each varietal in our 2021 Warlord blend was vinified with care. Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in stainless steel with daily pump-overs, while Malbec and Petit Verdot underwent punch-downs in small open-top fermenters for added depth. After fermentation, the wine matured for 22 months in French oak barriques, developing its structure, complexity, and signature Cavalli elegance before bottling.
