Description

Refined yet expressive, the Cavalli Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 delivers a polished take on Stellenbosch’s signature red. Aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and cigar-box spice unfold from the glass, hinting at the wine’s elegant depth. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and richly structured, with silky tannins framing layers of dark fruit and subtle oak. The finish is long, plush, and satisfying, perfect for lovers of classic South African Cabernet with finesse and charm.
Hand-harvested in the cool morning hours to preserve freshness, our Cabernet Sauvignon was gently sorted and fermented in stainless steel with soft, open pumpovers twice daily. Post-fermentation, it spent an extra week on the skins for added depth and tannin integration. After pressing, malolactic fermentation took place in tank, allowing the wine to evolve its signature plush texture and layered structure with precision and care.
