Description

The Mont Rochelle Little Rock Rouge 2023 is a vibrant and approachable red blend from Franschhoek, crafted in a fresh, fruit-driven style that highlights both drinkability and finesse. Designed as an easygoing yet expressive wine, it reflects the estate’s commitment to balance and purity of fruit.

The nose opens with bright aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with subtle notes of spice and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and juicy, with soft, supple tannins and a lively acidity that keeps the fruit fresh and lifted. The finish is smooth and clean, making this an incredibly versatile and crowd-pleasing red.

Perfect for everyday enjoyment, this blend pairs effortlessly with pizza, pasta, grilled meats, and casual entertaining.
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified with a focus on preserving fresh fruit character. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with gentle extraction to maintain softness and approachability. A portion of the wine saw brief oak maturation to add subtle complexity and structure, while the final blend was crafted to emphasize balance, vibrancy, and immediate drinkability.
