Elegant and expressive, the Rickety Bridge The Pilgrimage Sémillon 2021 opens with a fresh, zesty nose of citrus and lime, layered with delicate floral undertones. The palate is rich and textured, revealing indulgent notes of honey, nougat, and citrus, beautifully balanced by a touch of caramel sweetness.

Grapes were whole bunch pressed and natural fermentation took place in Austrian foudre. The must was fermented between 14 & 17 ̊C. Barrel maturation took place for 11 months.

Rickety Bridge Wine Estate is undoubtedly one of the most progressive wineries in the Cape. The historic winemaking cellar was recently renovated and converted into a barrel fermentation center, the new winery was built and modern cooling equipment was installed.
