Description

Elegant and expressive, this Single Block Chenin Blanc from L’Avenir opens with white blossoms, lemon zest, and a whisper of honey on the nose. The palate is richly layered yet refined, offering vibrant citrus, subtle oak, and a beautifully balanced acidity. Its generous texture and concentration create a lasting impression, making it a standout Stellenbosch white. A perfect match for pan-seared scallops, steamed cod, or indulgent seafood dishes.
The 2024 vintage benefited from ideal dry and moderate growing conditions. Low yields resulted in grapes of excellent quality, fruit intensity and good acidity. The vintage promises to deliver elegant wines with moderate to low alcohol and concentrated flavours. A selection of vineyards on the cooler south-western sites of L’Avenir Estate highly influenced by cool Atlantic breezes. Older vineyards of more than 40 years contribute to the depth of this wine.
