Description

Lush blackberries, raspberry leaf, and a hint of lavender rise from the glass, followed by layers of cassis, red fruit, and a whisper of tarragon. This Reserve Cabernet Franc from Franschhoek is rich, elegant, and beautifully structured, with integrated oak, savory spice, and a refined mineral finish. Balanced and expressive, it delivers both tension and volume in every sip. A standout South African red wine for collectors who seek depth, finesse, and something truly cellar-worthy.
Hand-harvested in early April 2021, our Cabernet Franc was berry-sorted and cold-soaked for five days to extract purity and finesse. Fermentation took place slowly using wild yeast in a mix of stainless steel and 60% new French oak barrels, followed by 22 months of maturation. Only the finest free-run juice and select press fractions were used. Bottled in May 2023, this limited-production wine will continue to evolve beautifully over the next 7–10 years.
