Description

Delaire Graff Sunrise Brut is a Chenin-driven sparkling white blend made in a bright, fruit-led style that favors freshness, finesse, and easy drinkability. While the inspiration nods to a Crémant de Loire approach, the wine lands with a distinctly modern, polished feel, offering lively fruit and a fine mousse without losing its sense of balance. It is a versatile sparkling wine that works just as well as an aperitif as it does at the table.

In the glass, it shows a pale lemon color with a faint green edge. The nose brings gooseberry and cantaloupe, while the palate adds lime, pear drop, and a light touch of vanilla wrapped in a fine, well-integrated mousse. There is good energy throughout, with zesty acidity keeping the fruit crisp and the finish clean and harmonious. It would be especially well suited to fresh seafood, sushi, light canapés, or creamy cheeses where its brightness and texture can play off the food naturally.
Whole bunch pressed Chenin Blanc & Chardonnay producing 450 liters per ton and the Cabernet Franc producing 150 liters per ton. Fermented over two weeks and blended. The second fermentation took place 7 months after blending and was aged for 18 months on the lees before disgorgement.

Winemaker: Morne Vrey
